Shreveport's own Jackie Shemwell will make Shreveport the last stop of her summer book tour for her debut novel, “The Devil in Canaan Parish.” On Aug. 5th Shemwell will be in the Red River District at Bon Temps Coffee Bar from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. for a book signing and meet the author event.
